Thanks
I'll let Miles' poem below serve as our inspirational piece today.
Many good things today. Adam spent about 2 hours off the respirator today, making progress daily. We hope for more.
Lots of visitors today. I know Adam is aware of it at some level, and is getting encouragement himself. Janie and Jodie are in from the north, and Amber and Dani are in from Louisville tonight. Rhetta says she appreciates it.
Special thanks to Pam, who spent so much time today with Adam so Rhetta could get away for family and personal time. We are blessed with friends.

He's got the whole world in His hands,
He's got the wind and the rain in His hands,
He's got the little bitty babies in his hands,
He's got you and me brother in His hands,
He's got you and me sister in His hands,
He's got everybody in His hands!
I just thought you might need a song to sing today! This might be a good one for you to hum and get people to hum along with you, do you think?
But encourage each other while it is still called "today"....
Hebrews 3:13
Thinking of you and praying,

Miles,
Your poem is so GREAT! I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for posting it. Adam will love it. Take care sweetie!

I think we should start calling Miles "Dr. Miles." If that poem of his is not good medicine I don't know what medicine is!
From what I can see and feel from this distance, here in South Carolina, in this most difficult experience through which Adam, the family, and the host of friends are going, is something expressed in the Bible, "Now abideth faith, hope and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
Thank you, "Dr. Miles," and thanks be to the Father for his greatest gift to us, which is Love!

We are so glad to hear about Adam's progress. We continue to pray for him daily. Whoever made the bumper stickers... it was a great idea. I can't help but wonder how many more prayers were said today as I drove to Terre Haute and back. Who knows who may have seen it and prayed? We're praising God for the progress and continue to ask for strength and comfort for the family.
Love in Christ,
Nancy Bright (and Stu)
Again, this guy up here in New York wants you all to know that he's thinking of you and living his own hopes for you all as well.
Yes, in those important words of Miles's poem:
I LOVE ADAM!
I love you all and am hoping that peace and love can offer their comfort as needed.
Charles
