More pictures from a Spring Break visit

We were visiting at the same time Danette was there. We enjoyed the visit. We were elated at the progress we see in Adam. There is such a dramatic change in what he can do. Please keep the decision-makers (including medical staff, insurance people, and especially Rhetta and Bill), since it seems that he will have to be leaving RHI due to some problems still with short-term memory and how much they can do right now. Hopefully, with more healing, more rehab is on the horizon.

Josh and Miles (the mummy)

Cousins and Aunts (what a good-looking bunch, don't you think?)

One of the great treats--Adam is eating and feeding himself now (even if it's pureed and mashed). The butterscotch pudding was the best.

At the table together. At one point, Adam asked Kelsey out of the blue, "Are you just going to sit there and watch me eat?" When she asked if he wanted her to leave, he replied, "No, you retard!" We'll need to work on the vocabulary a little. ; )

Rhett, Adam, and Miles smiling for the camera.

Happy Easter, Adam. I enjoyed reading your Aunt Danette's letter. It appears you all had a great time together. I know she makes a lot of trips to see you and I bless her for that. I liked the pictures. Everyone looked great and you are so handsome. I am glad you still think of Kentucky as where you are from. So many times I wish you were living down the street from us as in the past. Keep up your good works, Adam. Mimi and Papa love you very much and you are constantly in our thoughts and we relive so many memories with a smile on our face. Mimi Oh yes, Happy Easter to all!!

Happy Easter! I saw Josh and Zach at church with you, Rhetta and wow are they ever as handsome as Adam. Nice job with the genetics there! I will have to bring Kelcey out to see Adam so she can do her Napoleon Dynamite "get off my back" routine for him. I can't help but laugh when she does it and I haven't even seen the movie. I'm sure he would get a laugh. Well, have an awesome day! Love, Laura

Hi, my name is Kelly. I was a classmate of Josh's and new Adam only through Central Christian Church. My grandfather recently passed away, but the time he spent at RHI was INCREDIBLE and such a blessing. The staff and directors of RHI are the best. I know they will take care of Adam.
Also, I just wanted to thank you for your prayers for Richard, our pastor at Central.
We are all in God's hands. He said by His stripes we can be healed, so just believe and trust, and God will work wonders.

Hi and Happy Easter...!
Rhetta I wish I could have given you a hug after Easter service. . . Richard is so blessed and gave such a great message! It is good to see the ppictures and hear how Adam is progressing. What a journey and to see the time-line there is no way you could have all survived without the good God we have! Adam is looking great. . . attractive like all the Sherman men. No wonder the therapist at RHI like working with him! You are still being lifted up in prayers for continued healing and decision making that is on going. We love you all and hope to help you out however we can. Keep the faith, Sha'
